The Centre for Atmospheric Science studies processes important to climate change and air quality in the troposphere and lower stratosphere - the lowest 20 km of the Earth's atmosphere. The research is focused on integrated studies coupling sequence stratigraphy, structural geology and sedimentary geochemistry and is split 60:40 between outcrop/modelling work and subsurface studies.
