PAC provides a service for the central processing of applications for admission to Postgraduate level courses in Ireland. Applications are welcome from candidates seeking to pursue a doctorate in NUIM in one of the following disciplines: classics, Celtic studies, computer science, history, literature, media studies, modern languages, music or philosophy. The AFF doctoral programme will provide students with additional expertise in digital humanities. Applicants should therefore have a demonstrated interest in Humanities/ICT research.

The first year of the doctoral programme will include three hours of mandatory seminars weekly for AFF research students; later years of study will include regular seminars, supporting the candidate´s field of study.
