PAC provides a service for the central processing of applications for admission to Postgraduate level courses in Ireland. The site will therefore be of interest to anyone considering postgraduate study. PAC is committed to ensuring that all applications are dealt with fairly and efficiently. Applications are welcome from candidates seeking to pursue a doctorate in NUIM in one of the following disciplines: classics, Celtic studies, computer science, history, literature, media studies, modern languages, music or philosophy. The AFF doctoral programme will provide students with additional expertise in digital humanities. Applicants should therefore have a demonstrated interest in Humanities/ICT research.
The first year of the doctoral programme will include three hours of mandatory seminars weekly for AFF research students; later years of study will include regular seminars, supporting the candidate´s field of study.
