Our Department is able to offer PhD Operational Research as we have a number of academic staff whose research interests include operational research, constraint satisfaction and optimization. These are areas of great practical interest and use, and our research students undertake projects which explore (usually in an experimental way) topics at the forefront of research in these areas.

Successful completion of a PhD in these areas will qualify you for many varied careers in industry, as well as in academia.
We also offer an MPhil and a Masters by dissertation in this subject.
