The main objective is to train the student to analyze problems of practical interest where solutions based on techniques of Artificial Vision can be applied in a realistic and efficient manner. He will also be trained in designing, implementing and implanting hardware/software systems based on Artificial Vision, developing systems directed to specific areas like Robotics, Medical imaging, Documents Analysis and video surveillance.
