FINAL EXAMINATION
PhD Thesis
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testTo enroll into the 3rd cycle programme of Computer Science and Informatics studies, the applicant must have successfully completed one of the following:
a) The 2nd cycle study programme,
b) University study programme initiated prior to 11.6.2004.,
c) Professional study programme (initiated prior to 11.6.2004.) and the study programme with a concentration prerequisite. Stated candidates, before applying, must complete the requirement of having acquired 35 ECTS credits from the 2nd cycle programme of Computer Science and Informatics studies. Student obligations (the list of subjects) of the respective candidate are determined by the University study committee, according to the candidate´s field of education (type of programme completed by the candidate)
d) Vocational study programme, completed according to the specifications of EU, or a Joint Masters Programme, which carries 300 ECTS credits. Previous proper knowledge is gained during Undergraduate or Postgraduate (the 2nd cycle of Bologna declaration) studies in the field of Computer Science and Informatics.
If there is a limited enrollment, the candidates will be chosen based on the following:
- final grades (20%)
- grades, based on the exam from the elective subject, in the field of Computer science and Informatics (80%).
At the elective subject exam, candidate can compensate 50% of the grade from the current research work in the field of study.
Grading criteria is:
- original scientific papers or reviews published in journals with the impact factor (JCR) or the journals catalogued in databases such as SCI, SSCI, or A&HCI,
- published contributions in the International Conference Anthology,
- other publishing.
PREREQUISITES FOR SWITCHING MAJORS
According to the criteria for switching majors to the 2nd year study programme of the 3rd level Computer Science and Informatics, the candidate can register if he/she completed the following:
