The four year clinical PhD offers those with a recognised dental clinical qualification the opportunity to extend their research studies by undertaking a clinical component in addition to their research programme. A total of three sessions a week will be dedicated to clinical work, which may take a variety of forms.
This innovative new programme is currently being offered in the following:
Restorative Dentistry (Endodontics, Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Periodontology)
Paediatric Dentistry
Oral Surgery
Implant Dentistry
Dental Public Health
Applicants may choose a research programme allied to their clinical programme, or from any other of our clinical or non-clinical research areas.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testAcademic Requirement - Applicants should possess an internationally recognised clinical dental degree i.e. BDS, DMD, DDS.
Langauage Requirement - A TOEFEL score of 6.5 for overseas candidates is required.
