The following research areas are of particular strength:

Facilities for high-performance computing are such that we have one of Europe's most advanced 3D seismic interpretation and visualisation laboratories, which supports the modelling of sedimentary processes, mantle convection, structural and rock-fluid processes, and theoretical structural analysis.

A first or upper second class Honours degree or equivalent is required.
