The Doctoral Programme aims to train experts who can successfully work in the computer science research, in the academic world as well as in the industrial and business field. In particular, the purpose of such programme is to educate students to use any proper instruments for setting and developing research in a rigorous way and to be familiar with the methodologies used for planning and assessing information systems and applications.
A special attention will be paid to the latest trends in the information technology field in order to successfully transfer such knowledge to the business field and develop innovative applications (concerning for instance the internet, multimediality, new forms of interaction and communication with or by means of processor, e-commerce, virtual reality, system simulations, etc.).
Research subjects
Parallel and distributed systems and algorithms; programming languages and paradigms; architectures and networks; information and multimedia systems, assessment methods of performances and systems simulation, logic and logic programming; security and e-commerce; artificial intelligence and vision; software engineering; man-machine interaction.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
