Within this programme the experts are educated, which will be able, based on the obtained knowledge during Ph.D. studies, to perform highly qualified scientific work in the field of physical chemistry (Universities, Czech Academy of Sciences, research institutes etc.). Ph.D. study programme Physical Chemistry is focused on different problems, which reflect the present orientation of the Institute of Physical and Applied Chemistry in the field of scientific work. Topics of Ph.D. thesis, guaranted by the corresponding advisors, are chosen in such a way, that by its development the personal and professional capacity of the institute is exploited. Some thesis can be solved, based on the agreement, on other Institutes out of the Faculty. Institute of Physical and Appllied Chemistry is concentrated on the investigation in physical and colloidal chemistry of macromolecular systems, chemistry of free radicals, photochemistry, plasmochemistry, plasmophysics, and computer application in chemistry, chemical technology and physics.
