Applied Mathematics – (Ph.D.)

The graduate of the third grade of the university study program Applied Mathematics achieves the profound theoretical and methodological knowledge and practical experiences from the crucial parts of Applied Mathematics comparable with the contemporary state of the Applied Mathematics in the world research, can analyze and solve the complicated and not standard tasks in Mathematics and its applications. He/she brings new original approaches and solutions and with respect to the interactive character of the field can formulate and solve also mathematical problems from another research disciplines. The graduate is able to be head of small research groups, is oriented in the modern research trends in applications of mathematics in natural, technical, economical and social sciences, can communicate and cooperate with managers of research projects and specialists from another professions.
