Chemical Physics – (Ph.D.)

Chemical Physics represents a basis for the investigation of material properties on the atomic and molecular level. The topics is tightly closed to the solid state physics, particular sections of plasma physics, as well as modeling in biophysical systems and in quantum chemistry. The research fields of Chemical Physics are represented by the investigation and characterization of molecules and condensed systems using methods of quantum mechanics and statistical physics. The attention in oriented on the interpretation, classification and prediction of molecular characteristics by means of quantum chemistry, molecular spectroscopy, structural analysis, as well as on the dynamics of elemental chemical processes by the application of theoretical and computational methods.
