  • Design, implement, and analyze your own research related to the counseling profession.
  • Prepare for a role as a counselor educator in a program that complies with national standards that require new faculty members of Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)-accredited programs to hold doctoral degrees in counselor education and supervision by 2013.

A General Program is available for students who are licensed professional counselors with a master’s degree in counseling or who have graduated from a CACREP-accredited master’s program.

Curriculum for students who are licensed professional counselors or who have graduated from a CACREP-accredited master’s program:

  • Nonprofit Management and Leadership
  • Trauma and Crisis

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
