Cranfield University is seeking a graduate to work on an exciting research project within University's Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM) Centre.
This is a companion project to on-going research projects to develop and integrate different health management sub-systems for an aerial vehicle. The ultimate goal is to have an automated vehicle health management system that is capable of performing diagnostics and generating recommendations to an operator or self-reconfiguring the system.
This PhD focuses on practical development of a vehicle-level reasoning system for an aerial vehicle in Cranfield, and then generates a generic framework or recommendations to be used by the industrial partners. This research will also involve a significant collaboration with the partners.
