It's part of the University's Centre for European and International Studies Research (CEISR) which was given a top '5' rating in the last Research Assessment Exercise, grading it as internationally outstanding. This means that our lecturers, some of whom are regarded as world experts, are consistently producing work of the highest quality. We have recently attracted a number of grants for specialist research projects and individual sabbaticals.
