About the program
Geodesy and Cartography from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava graduates acquire a complete third-degree university education in the specialization of geodesy and cartography with a detailed focus on the following specific areas: precise, integrated four-dimensional geodetic systems, geodynamics, space geodetic technologies, modelling of the Earth's gravity field in space and time, spatial database building and spatial modelling, digital cartography, photogrammetry and remote sensing, engineering geodesy, monitoring of spatial shifts and deformations of structures and buildings, optimal arrangements of agricultural land, real estates and cadastre of real estate within an information environment.
Programme Structure
Courses include:
- Analysis of interpolation of astronomical quantities
- Automated system for tilt measurements
- Digital carttographical visualisation of georelief with using of high resolution spatial data
- Creation of simplified 3D models generated from point clouds for visualization of cultural heritage objects
- Activities of a land surveyor during house construction
- Geodetic monitoring of vertical bridge displacements
- Innovative local reconnaissance procedures in the renewal map procedure
- Convergence/divergence of spherical harmonics in the vicinity of the asteroid

- List of published vocational and scientific (artistic) works
- Framework project to dissertation topic
- Transcript of records of all passed exams from previous studies (Bachelor and Master degree)
- Confirmation of the payment of the application fee
