About the program
The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne program in Neuroscience (EDNE) provides its students with extensive training in various fields of neurosciences, ranging from molecular, cellular, circuit, computational, cognitive and behavioral neurosciences to neuroprosthetics and neuroengineering.
Students matriculate in the highly dynamic and interdisciplinary environment of the EPFL, in the Brain Mind Institute , the Neuro-X Institute, the Blue Brain Project, or in other research groups affiliated to our program.

General requirements
- Applicants must hold a Masters or the equivalent before starting a doctorate in the Neuroscience Program at EPFL.
You will be asked to upload a pdf version of the following documents:
- Official transcripts of diplomas and grades from all academic institutions of higher education you list in your application (after and not including high-school)
- Certified translations of diplomas and grades into English if not originally in French, German, Italian or English
- Statement of objectives
- A copy of your passport or official identity document showing your name in full.
